PAPILLION, Nebraska - A thief is caught on surveillance camera stealing the expensive wheels off a disabled man's bike in Papillion, in the broad daylight, leaving the disabled man with no way to get around.
A local Trek store is donating replacement wheels for the bike.
"Retail, if you had bought them, it would be like $400 to $500 dollars." Trek Manager Erik Manascale tells WOWT-TV 6.
The thief pulled up in an SUV with no plates. Police have a video of the SUV and the suspected thief. KFAB Radio News grabbed a still shot of the suspect's face, above. The full video from TV 6 is below.
