Omaha Police have arrested a suspected drunk driver after a motorcycle rider was critically injured in a crash early Sunday morning near 84th and Q.

Investigators say 31 year old Kegan Collins was riding south on 84th around 12:30 a.m. Police say 26 year old Jacob Beins was also southbound when his Escape rear-ended the motorcycle and pushed it approximately 100 feet. Collins was thrown from the bike.

Investigators say he suffered a back fracture and road rash over most of his body, but is expected to recover.

Beins was booked for DUI Serious Bodily Injury and Leaving the Scene of a Personal Injury crash. Police said Beins tried to drive away from the scene, but only made it another block before his vehicle became disabled when all the oil leaked out.
