The Lion King is going to dominate the box office for the next several weeks. The remake of the 1994 Disney classic sees a new technology to create a world of lions fighting in the jungle. Made with virtual reality, this has never been used in a movie before. Nothing is real. There was no set, no motion-capture, all pixels. But still a real camera shooting things! I was fascinated when ABC aired this. I don't even entirely understand how they did it.
