Plattsmouth hopes to have their water treatment facility up and running by August. The city has been approved for a $6.1 million loan to fix the plant after it flooded in March.
The city reports they are down to one well and only have temporary power. Residents continue to conserve their water.
The loan will pay for repairs to the water and wastewater facility and to pay the contractors for their work. Right now, power is available in the plant and workers are getting ready for the repairs.
