Man Recovering After Monday Morning Shooting

An Omaha man is recovering after being shot early Monday morning. Omaha Police are still trying to sort out all of the details.

They say officers were on patrol around 5:30 a.m. when they were approached by the victim near 24th and Fort. He told them he'd been shot near 24th and Ellison.

35 year old Walter Kimbrough was taken to Nebraska Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
