The bodies of five people were discovered inside an apartment in unincorporated St. Louis County. Police say that a person who had been at the residence the night before returned around noon on Saturday (July 6) and discovered the bodies of five adults.

Officials have not released any information about the victims but said they were murdered.

Many units in the complex are boarded up and are vacated. Authorities are asking the public for any information they may know about the case.

"Any time that we have a scene like this, where there's what appears to be five individuals that are victims of homicide, it rocks a community," Police Chief Jon Belmar said. "Somebody out there knows what happened."
