UNO Ringing In 4th Of July With Free Concert

For the 30th year, UNO's School of Music will present its 30th annual carillon concert on the 4th of July.

The public is invited to enjoy music ringing out form the Henningson Memorial Campanile. This live performance will feature patriotic selections played on the bronze bells of the bell tower by UNO carillon studies alumnus Brent Shaw.

The performance starts at 9 a.m. on July 4th. Parking will be available in all lots, including D, E and M, which are nearest to the Henningson Memorial Plaza. Limited seating is available around the base of the bell tower so guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs or blankets. The Barbara Weitz Community Engagement Center nearby will be open for public use of restrooms and water fountains. The carillon is located at 6001 Dodge Street.
