Water Boil Order Issued For McClelland, Iowa

A boil order is in effect for residents of McClelland, Iowa as well as those who live on Idlewood Road east of Railroad Highway.

A Mosquito Creek main failure has prompted this order. Water is temporarily restored but and the boil order will remain in place until a permanent fix is done. Repairs may not be possible until the week of July 8th.

The boil order is due to a risk of bacterial contamination. Water must be boiled before drinking or cooking or residents are asked to use bottled water.

Water may be used for bathing, washing of dishes, clothing, watering lawns or other purposes.
