A 29 year old woman is recovering from multiple fractures to a leg and cuts to her hip after she was struck by a vehicle around 10 a.m. near 93rd and Maple.
Omaha police say witnesses told them that a white 90's - 2005 Ford Econoline van with a raised roof was eastbound on Maple and driving recklessly. It made a quick lane change, drove over a curb and hit the woman who was walking on the south sidewalk on Maple.
Sade Watkins was rushed to a hospital in serious condition.
The van took off and police are looking for the driver. The vehicle likely has front end damage. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 402-444-STOP.
