The Nebraska Department of Corrections reports that inmate, 57 year old Gage Capone died shortly after 5:30 a.m. Tuesday at Bryan Medical Center in Lincoln.
Capone was assigned to the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution. He was sentenced in February of 2017 and was serving a 35 to 57 year sentence after being convicted of making terroristic threats in Lancaster County. He was also sentenced as a habitual criminal.
The cause of death has not been determined. A grand jury will investigate Capone's death.
