Former Children's Hospital Pharmacy Director Sentenced To Prison

The former pharmacy director at Children's Hospital and Medical Center is sentenced to four years in prison after pleading guilty to wire fraud.

Lisa Kwapniowski agreed to admit to accusations that she embezzled more than $4 million from the hospital for billing for a make-believe drug.

Kwapniowski also agreed to relinquish her pharmacy license for two years.

Kwapniowski was ordered to pay back the money. She was was terminated from her position last summer.
