Nebraska Governor lifts ban on surge charging for ride-share companies

OMAHA, Neb. - Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts is waiving the ban on "surge charging" for ride-share companies.

Ricketts issued an executive order to lift the ban, which was put in place during the State of Emergency because of the flood disaster.

Some Uber and Lyft drivers in the Omaha Metro area were threatening to not work during the College World Series because of the restriction.
