Repairs To Haworth Park In Bellevue Will Cost Millions

Haworth Park in Bellevue still is under water after the spring flood. FEMA and others can't even get in to assess the damage until the Missouri River drops another 10 feet.There is no camping or RV's at the park or boating this year and the park remains closed.

Officials do say that Haworth Park is designed as a flood plain.It is designed for water to quickly come and go but this time it stayed.

Repairs totaled $1.9 million after the 2011 flood.The estimated repair this time could hit the $3 million mark
