Lincoln Fuel Spill

Lincoln police released more details on this morning's fuel spill at a Kwik Shop at 14th and Adams. Around 9 a.m., a 26 year old man went into the store to pre-pay for fuel and noticed the fueling truck hoses were behind his vehicle. The man pumped the gas and thought he had enough room to back up. He accidentally collided with the valves on the ground. When he pulled forward, the valves broke causing the spill.

About 22 gallons of fuel spilled. No citations are expected.
