Wohlner’s Neighborhood Grocery and Deli at Midtown Crossing is joining the local, national and global push to put the environment first by banning plastic grocery bags.
Starting Saturday, June 1st, Wohlner's customers will be able to choose paper bags or reusable fabric bags.
The fabric bags cost $1 each. Customers who use Wohlner's reusable bags will receive 5% off regular priced items every time they shop at the store.
“Protecting the environment takes everyone doing their part. We’re excited to do ours, “says Mike Schwartz, Wohlner’s third generation owner.
