Omaha police rushed to 24th and Kansas Avenue just before 11 a.m. after receiving a report of a shooting. Officers found the victim, 49 year old Willie Hatten. He was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police continue to look for the shooter. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call 402-444-STOP. Tips leading to the arrest of a suspect would be eligible for an enhanced reward of $10,000.
