Four people were killed in a head-on crash late Sunday night south of Plattsmouth, according to the Cass County sheriff's office.
6 News was told at the scene that a van and a Ford Mustang crashed on Highway 75 near Young Road about 9:45 p.m. Sunday. The scene is between Plattsmouth and Beaver Lake.
Authorities say it appeared the van was in the wrong lane. Three people in the van were killed along with on person in the Mustang. Three others in the Mustang were injured and taken to an Omaha hospital.
Highway 75 was closed for hours as the tragic crash was investigated. The lanes re-opened about 3 a.m.
