Council Bluffs Police have arrested four people in connection with a shooting that wounded a 20 year old woman early Thursday morning. The victim and her boyfriend heard someone trying to steal one of their vehicle and went outside to see three men walking away.
Police say Carmen Hernandez was wounded in the leg as she chased after the men. Tips from the public led to the arrests of three men and a woman
27 year old Tyler Raiti is facing charges of Attempted Murder, Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Burglary. 29 year old Kevin White was booked for Attempted Murder and Burglary.
37 year old Samuel Pirowski and 27 year old Tara Stoops were arrested on Burglary charges.
Police say it appears the suspects had been trying to steal a car from the garage but could not get the garage door to open wide enough to drive the car out.
