Former Corrections Officer Pleads No Contest To Theft

A former corrections officer pleaded no contest to theft. Daniel Glazebrook was the treasurer of the Douglas County Corrections Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 8.

An investigation shows that he embezzled $173,000 from the Lodge over a three year period starting in 2016. The Lodge's board discovered missing funds from their bank account and that led to the investigation.

Glazebrook was arrested in January. He will be sentenced in July and faces up to 20 years in prison.
