10 Years In Prison For A Deadly DUI Crash

Vismar Carmona-Martinez was sentenced to 10 years in prison for motor vehicle homicide. This is in connection to an accident in 2018 that claimed the life of Ann Smock.

Investigators say Carmona-Martinez was speeding on Highway 75 when he rear-ended Smock's car. His vehicle then crossed two lanes on Highway 75 before hitting a concrete barrier.

Carmona-Martinez's blood alcohol level was three times the legal limit. Along with prison time, his license was revoked for 15 years.
