Update: Lincoln Police have identified the two people shot and killed as 48 year old Adrian S. Almansouri. The deceased 35 year old woman is Rasha M. Khaled. The family has asked for privacy during this difficult time.
Lincoln Police say a man and woman were found dead after officers responded to a report of a shooting inside a home around 5:00 Thursday afternoon.
At a police briefing Friday morning, Officer Luke Bonkiewicz said authorities were still processing evidence and police were still in the process of notifying relatives of the man and woman.
He says officers responded to a shooting call at 1100 Geranium Drive and found the bodies of a 35-year-old woman and a 48-year-old man. Investigators say both died from apparent gunshot injuries.
Police say someone from the house where the bodies were found called 911 shortly after 5 p.m. Five children who live in the home were found unharmed outside of the house. There were four girls, ages 3, 5, 10 and 14 and a 13-year-old boy.
