Woman Grabbed In Parking Lot Of Papillion-LaVista South HS

Papillion Police will step up their patrol around Papillion-LaVista South High School following an incident in the parking lot Monday afternoon.

A woman told police that around 4:00 p.m. she was walking to her car in the south parking lot when she was approached by a suspicious male. She said he grabbed her arm and said "excuse me ma’am." The woman, who does not work for the school district, pulled her arm away, got into her vehicle and drove off without any further incident.

Police say the white male is in his late teens or early 20s with short dark hair. He may have been driving a tan or dirty white sedan. The woman was unable to provide any other description.

Anyone who has any information about this incident is asked to please contact the Papillion Police Investigative Unit at 402-597-2035

In a message to parents, the district asked parents to visit with their children and remind them of the importance of using safety precautions. "We would encourage students to walk in groups and immediately report anyone or anything suspicious to school officials and/or the police."  There will be extra adult supervision and police presence at the school beginning Tuesday.
