The annual summer concert at Omaha's Memorial Park will take place this June after it was previously postponed. The City of Omaha Celebrates America concert will be held on June 28. This year's headliner will be Little Steven and the Disciples of Soul.
Steven Van Zandt is a member of Bruce Springsteen's E Street band and is also known for his role as Silvio Dante on The Sopranos. Organizers had originally postponed the concert until 2020 because potential sponsors were focused on flood relief efforts.
an anonymous donor stepped forward to pay the entire cost for the concert and fireworks show. The annual concert has been a Fourth of July tradition in Omaha since 1987.
