Reward Offered For Return Of Stolen Puppy

The Nebraska Humane Society is asking for the public's help in finding a stolen puppy. A four-month-old pit bull puppy named Chloe was stolen from a backyard near 30th and Harrison late Friday night.

On Saturday morning the owner of the puppy found a flyer in their mailbox saying the Humane Society of the United States had removed the dog for lack of care and listed the contact information for NHS

Officials say at no time did the Humane Society of the United States or the Nebraska Humane Society remove the puppy. NHS is offering a $1,000 reward for the safe return of the puppy.

Anyone with information on the theft should call Crime Stoppers at 402-444-STOP.
