11 Year Old Lincoln Girl Brings Bag Of Meth To School

Lincoln Police say an elementary school student brought a baggie of meth to school Wednesday. A test identified the white substance to be meth according to police.

Police were called to Belmont Elementary School shortly after 1:30 p.m. when the principal reported that a the 11 year old girl showed up to school with the drugs.

She told school officials she found it on the street near her house the night before and thought it would be cool to bring it to school to show her friends. Some of her classmates notified a teacher.

The student was referred to the Lancaster County Attorney Office's juvenile division.
