Probation Given In Manslaughter Case

A woman who faced up to 20 years in prison is sentenced Tuesday to three to five years of probation for a no contest plea to manslaughter.

It was in September of 2017, Catessa Barnum shot 15 year old Shadaisja Hill near 36th and Lake.Hill was rushed to a hospital and later died.

Investigators say that Barnum and Hill's mother were involved in an argument when the shooting happened.Barnum was arrested several days after the shooting.
