Salvation Army Giving Easter Baskets To Flood Victims

Families with children impacted by the flood can get a free Easter basket on Friday. The Salvation Army's Kroc Center is offering them through Operation Easter Basket.

Families can pick up baskets from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Sarpy-Cass Disaster Resource Center inside the former JC Penney store at the Southroads from 1-7 p.m.

Supplies for Easter baskets are limited. Families should pre-register for Operation Easter Basket here

The center will still be open for people to come in and pick up flood-relief supplies during the event.
