Omaha Man Killed In I-680 Crash

Omaha Police have identified the person killed in a four-vehicle accident on Interstate 680 just west 72nd Street Wednesday afternoon.

Police say a Buick and an Audi were eastbound in the left lane. The driver of the Buick passed the Audi in the right lane and moved back into the left lane, striking the Audi. Both cars spun out into the grassy median.

The Buick continued into the oncoming lanes, crashing into a school bus. No children were on board. Police say debris from the car colliding with the bus hit a third car that was traveling westbound. The driver of the Buick, 47-year-old Bradley Uecker of Omaha, died at a hospital. The bus driver complained of soreness to his wrist, knees, and back and was taken to the hospital.

The circumstances of the crash remain under investigation.
