The Metropolitan Entertainment and Convention Authority is holding a Seasonal Job Fair on Tuesday, April 9th. MECA spokesperson Kristina Engdahl says College World Series time will be here before you know it and it is time to beef up "our" team.
MECA is hiring for ushers, ticket takers, ticket sellers, crowd managers and security officers.They will be taking applications for enthusiastic and hard workers who want to be part of this great event.
The job fair will start at 11 a.m. at CHI Health Center Omaha and run until 11 p.m.Parking is available for applicants at Lot B. Engdahl says people can fill out applications and be interviewed at the same time.
Engdahl says, "The games are in the morning and in the afternoon.We are happy to have people who are able to work one game, both games, for part of the time or for all the entire two weeks.Anyone who doesn't mind a big crowd or a little bit of heat, we are happy to have them on staff."
Most of the positions are seasonal and for the CWS only.
