Two People Killed In Bellevue Motorcycle Crash Identified

A man and woman were killed in a motorcycle crash Saturday night near 21st and Cornhusker in Bellevue. Police say officers arrived on scene around 7:30 to find both riders of the motorcycle on the ground and not breathing and witnesses performing CPR.

Investigators say the motorcyle was eastbound on Cornhusker and a Dodge Ram was westbound. The driver of the truck turned left through a yellow light and collided with the motorcycle as it went through the intersection.

Police say 39 year old Jason Burges of Bellevue was driving the motorcycle and was pronounced dead at the scene. 29 year old Megan Allen of Bellevue was his passenger. She was taken to the hospital with CPR in progress and later died.

A 16-year-old was behind the wheel of the Dodge with an adult passenger.

Police are still investigating, and charges are pending.
