Omaha Police say a fight at 10th and Jackson early Saturday morning left two men injured. Officers were called to just before 4 a.m. and arrived to find 24 year old Christian Rexilius assaulting 30 year old Daniel Lesley with a knife.
An officer ordered Rexilius to drop the knife. He complied and was taken into custody. The investigation determined that Lesley had punched Rexilius in the face, breaking his nose. Rexilius responded by pulling out a knife and cutting Lesley.
Lesley was cited for misdemeanor assault. Rexilius was taken to the hospital for treatment and will be booked for felony assault and use of a weapon when released.
