The flooding is easing its grip on a piece of Mills County as some residents have now been given the green light to return to their homes in the aftermath of evacuation.
The Mills County Board of Supervisors and Emergency Management officials have issued an order for partial release of the county's mandatory evacuation order. The partial release affects the unincorporated area on Painter Road, no farther south than Paddock Avenue.
