An Omaha firefighter was taken to a hospital after showing signs of possible heat exhaustion. OFD was battling a house fire on the southeast corner of 12th and Vinton Street at 11:58 a.m. at the time.
The firefighter was transported in serious condition as a precaution.He is said to be in good spirits.
