Salvation Army, Red Cross Coming To The Aid Of Flood Victims

The Salvation Army is working alongside first responders and authorities to provide relief to victims of the widespread flooding in the region. Hundreds of people in Norfolk have received shelter and food

Additionally, as the weekend approaches, The Salvation Army Western Division will be watching for additional flooding-related problems around the three-state area—maintaining vigilance in case the flood-relief response needs to change in size or scope, and ready to provide additional support.

People wishing to donate to relief efforts can do so online by going to www.salarmyomaha.org or redcross.org

"Your gift enables us to prepare for, respond to and help people recover from disasters," the organization tweeted Thursday.
