Omaha Police say a man was critically injured in a two vehicle crash around 11:00 Saturday night at 168th and Washington. Investigators say 20 year old Devon Kurmel was driving north on 168th approaching Washington Street when he lost control and crossed the center line into southbound traffic.
Kurmel's vehicle was then struck by a southbound car driven by 21 year old Jordan Weber. Police Kurmel went to the hospital with head and abdomen injuries. Police say the injuries are serious and possibly life-threatening. Weber was not injured.
Police say the icy road conditions were a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation.
