One man was critically injured and another arrested after an altercation inside the Popeye's restaurant near 30th and Fort late Thursday morning. Police say one customer stabbed another one several times around 11:30.
35 year old Jeffery Gould was transported to the Nebraska Medical Center to be treated. Police say his injuries are not considered life threatening. Police say due to the help of several witnesses, officers were able to locate and apprehend the suspect at a house about three blocks to the east of the restaurant.
23 year old Chukwuemeziekin Agonor was booked into Douglas County Corrections for 1st Degree Felony Assault and Use of a Weapon. Police have not said what led to the stabbing.
