Police Identify Three People Injured In House Fire

Omaha Police have identified three people who were critically injured in a house fire near 37th and Himebaugh Sunday night. Police say one of the three, 65 year old Carl Bohm, is a suspect in the fire that also injured 56 year old Janet Bohm and 18 year old Amanda Bohm.

When firefighters arrived around 12:45 a.m. the house was engulfed in flames. They found Janet and Amanda Bohm and took them to the UNMC with critical burns.

Officers then located Carl Bohm, who was also taken to Nebraska Medical for injuries resulting from the fire. Two of them were eventually transferred to St. Elizabeth Burn Unit in Lincoln.

According to court documents from July 2018, a protection order request from Janet Bohm and Amanda Bohm against Carl Bohm was dismissed without a hearing. He also had previously threatened to burn down the house.

Police say they are not looking for any other suspects.
