Woman Sentenced for murder dating back to November, 2017

A woman convicted of Second Degree Murder is sentenced to 20 to 40 years in prison. Tyjanae Allen killed Julio Cesar-Ortega in 2017.

Cesar-Ortega's body was found inside of a vehicle that was parked at the Omaha Police Northeast Precinct.Prosecutors say Cesar-Ortega had prearranged a meeting with Allen for sex.Allen, then 18, stabbed him and took $100.

Allen had also been charged with Use of a Weapon to Commit a Felony bot that charge was dropped.

Next month, another suspect will be sentenced.Governor Tate had been charged with Cesar-Ortega's murder but pleaded guilty to Conspiracy to Commit a Felony and Use of a Weapon to Commit a Felony.
