A 43 year old Omaha man is facing charges for a deadly hit and run at 84th and Q Street on February 3. Michael Sullivan has surrendered to police in connection with the accident that claimed the life of 57 year old Richard McIntyre Sr.
Emergency crews arriving on the scene shortly before 9:30 P.M. and found McIntyre down on the street. He later died of his injuries.
Ralston Police said they received a number of tips about the case and one led to the discovery of the vehicle they believed was involved. Further investigation led to the identification of the suspected driver.
He turned himself in on Tuesday. Sullivan has been booked for Leaving the Scene of a Personal Injury Accident Resulting in Death and Tampering with Physical Evidence.
