A Friday night fire in Lincoln caused roughly $200,000 in damage.
Lincoln Fire says around 7:40, crews were called to an apartment building after a passerby saw flames coming from the six-plex.
When crews arrived, they determined that the fire was in a 1 st floor apartment. and fire fighters were able to start battling the blaze within five minutes of getting the call.One person was found unresponsive in the building. They were safely removed from the structure and transported to a local hospital.
The cause of the fire is believed to be from food left on the stove. Estimates show $100,000 in damage to the structure and another $100,000 in damage to contents inside the building.
