One man is in custody in the aftermath of a police confrontation early Monday morning. Officers responded to a report of a suspicious man near 23rd and I streets around 12:30.
They located the man and as they tried to apprehend him, they discovered he had a knife in his pocket. The officers on scene called for backup but were quickly able to get the man into handcuffs.
The man is now facing a charge for a concealed weapon.
