Omaha Police are on the hunt for a hit and run driver who critically injured a 35 year old man Friday night.
Authorities say just after 9:00, officers were called to the area of 20th and Martha for a hit and run crash involving a pedestrian.
On the scene, investigators determined that Eli Kennan was walking westbound, at about mid-block, in the traffic lane when he was struck by a westbound vehicle. That suspect vehicle, believed to be a 2007-2012 silver Dodge Caliber with damage to the front right bumper, then fled westbound from the scene.
Keenan was transported to Nebraska Medicine with serious, life threatening injuries to his abdomen and pelvis. the crash remains under investigation.
