A pedestrian has died after being struck by a hit and run driver.
Authorities say the person was hit while crossing the intersection of 84th and Q around 9:30 Sunday night. The unidentified pedestrian was declared dead at the scene, while the driver reportedly fled the scene following the crash. Omaha and Ralston Police both responded to the crash with officers on scene telling 6 News that they were looking for a car described as a dark 4 door sedan with tinted windows.
The crash remains under investigation.
