The Douglas County Sheriff’s office is asking for the public’s help in identifying a vehicle and individual that was approaching juveniles in the area of Elkhorn Grandview Middle School near 178th and Grand Ave.
On Monday, January 28, at approximately 3:30 p.m. a late 1990’s smaller red pickup truck with mud on and around the wheel wells and side panels was seen in the area of the school.
The vehicle was reported to have miscellaneous items in the bed of the truck. The driver was described as a white male approximately in his late 50’s to early 60’s with gray medium length hair. The man had a raspy voice and his front teeth were stained brown.
The vehicle and driver were reported to have approached at least two juveniles, attempting to entice them into the vehicle on the premise of looking for the driver’s daughter. Anyone with information about the driver of the vehicle can call 402-444-6000.
