A 19 year old has been arrested in connection to a stabbing that took place during an altercation near Lake Cunningham Friday night.
Omaha Police were called to a home near 81st Avenue and Lake Cunningham Road around 8:30 p.m and found two people injured.
Investigators say 30 year old Lavere Ford had several stab wounds and 40 year old Kenna Washington had a laceration. Both were taken to Nebraska Medicine for treatment.
Police found 19 year old Kevonte Washington at a nearby home and believe he stabbed Ford during the altercation. Washington was cut when she tried to intervene.
Washington was booked for second-degree assault.
