Man Sentenced For Burglarizing Scott Frost's Home

A Lincoln man is headed to prison after being sentenced for burglarizing Nebraska head coach Scott Frost's home.

On Tuesday, a Lancaster County judge sentenced 21 year old Andrew Williams to three to five years in prison, with a chance for parole in a little over a year. Williams was accused of, and pleaded guilty to, breaking in to Frost's Lincoln home while it was under renovation last July. Frost reported that burglars entered through an unlocked garage door at his unoccupied house and stole football helmets, artwork and shoes. Most of the stolen items were recovered by police.

During his sentencing this week, Williams apologized to Frost for the burglary. Two seventeen year olds also were arrested in connection to the case and are awaiting trial. Both teens will be tried as adults.
