Two Omaha Police Officers Exposed To Cocaine In Evidence Room

Two Omaha Police officers were taken to the hospital Monday morning after being exposed to cocaine at the evidence room around 11:30 a.m. Monday

Omaha Police say the officers were booking in evidence and thought they may have been exposed to an unknown substance.  They were taken by ambulance from Central Police Headquarters near 15th and Howard to the hospital to be checked out.

Once the substance was tested it was found to be cocaine.
