A hit and run suspect is behind bars over a week after allegedly hitting a man with his car.
Omaha Police say they have arrested 28 year old Johnathan Pulec on charges of Leaving the Scene of a Personal Injury Accident, Careless Driving and Texting While Driving.
Just before 10:30 on January 6th, officers were called to the intersection of NW Radial Highway and Hamilton Street for a crash involving a vehicle and pedestrian. Authorities say 53 year old William McKnight was walking from west to east near the intersection when he was struck by a southbound vehicle. McKnight was transported to Nebraska Medicine with a broken left leg.
