A police pursuit ended with an arrest in Bellevue around 5:00 Friday morning.
The pursuit began in Shelby, Iowa around 4:00, but ended across the river near 25th and Cornhusker Road after the suspect vehicle hit police stop sticks. Law enforcement from both Iowa and Nebraska are piecing together details of the incident.
From Iowa he took Interstate 80 through Pottawattamie, Douglas and Sarpy counties, all the way to the Millard area. The suspect then left the interstate, snaking his way back into Bellevue before his tires surrendered to the stop sticks and he was arrested.
