HDR officials unveiled its new global headquarters at Aksarben Village on Thursday. The engineering, consulting and architectural firm wanted to move to a downtown location. That turned out not to be possible, but on Thursday they opened their doors to the new facility at Aksarben.
The building stands 10 stories tall, but there is still extra room to put up a second building should they need to accommodate future growth.
There is light-filled space that is designed, in part, to foster creativity. With more than 1,100 employee's, businesses around the area are looking forward to the economic boom as well as the crowded restaurants.
